Connections is a little different than most adoption agencies because our focus is on birthparents. We have seen too many times that birthparents are not always treated respectfully by other agencies. We want to make sure that when you call us you can talk to a real person, a staff person, and not to leave a message on some machine. Connections is a big supporter of OPEN ADOPTION. We want you to have the chance to choose the perfect adoptive family for your child, if you want to make that choice. We also want you to be able to get to know the family (through phone calls or emails or visits) before you have the baby, and get regular pictures and update letters through the years so that you know how your child is doing.
